Project 2A: Double Exposure

Week 7

Lecture

Mr. Fauzi explained about the Colour Theory, covering various combination of colours that looks visually appealing when put together, such as the Monochrome, Analogous, Complementary, Split-Complimentary, Triadic colours. He also explained about the psychology of colour, where human's eye perceive different emotion in different colour.

Understanding these helps me in making intentional colour choices in my design to create harmony and evoke the desired emotional response from the audience.

Reflection

I absolutely loved the Double Exposure effect on photography, it adds depth to our photography and aids my visual storytelling. The Double Exposure effect also allows me to seamlessly blend contrasting elements that looks completely different in one image. However, I faced some challenges selecting images that didn’t feel too random, but I managed to overcome this by setting a theme like "A Girl That Turned Wolf" or "The Multifaceted Nature" to guide my choices and it worked!

I think discovering Double Exposure has truly opened a new creative avenue for me, it inspired me to explore more fresh and imaginative approaches in photography.
